Photographing weddings in Dallas makes up the majority of what I do, but every once in a while, I get to photograph another special occasion in a young Jewish boys life. A Bar Mitzvah celebration! This is a coming of age in a boys life where he becomes a man, and in this Jewish tradition there is usually lots of preparation and studying with a Rabbi for months before the ceremony takes place. After the ceremony there is usually a celebration of family and friends.
Mason read from the Torah and did his duties during the ceremony, and I could tell he made his parents very proud. For the reception Mason rocked a popsicle suit complete with a matching tie. This hockey player had tons of fun in store for his guests too! Dec on Dragon turned their rooftop into a fun atmosphere for kids and adults alike complete with a custom dance floor and carnival games like the puck shot and basketball hoops from Games on Dallas. Frost 321 also gave guests an experience with their liquid nitrogen frozen ice creams which the kids and the adults both enjoyed (you must try the strawberry topped with champagne, delish).
Wonderful Dallas Vendors:
DFW Events, Dec on Dragon, Frost 321, David Kimmel Design, Beyond Lighting, Game On Dallas,
What a fun experience! It’s so cool to see what other events you cover in addition to weddings! I especially love how you captured the moment on the dance floor as Mason was lifted up by his relatives!
