The DFW NACE chapter held its monthly meeting in August at The Joule Hotel in Dallas, Texas. What started off as a rainy day turned into a nice evening when the skies cleared and the sun came out during cocktail hour. The rooftop was created into an oasis complete with lush green palms and delicious frozen rose. NACE members and guests met and mingled with each other, bought beautiful handmade jewelry from Not Forgotten, and took selfies in front of the green luau wall.
Once cocktail hour was over everyone descended in the Joule’s famous glass elevator into the ballroom for dinner. Debbie from Branching Out Design and Events created an elegant tropical escape with deep emerald greens, pops of pink, and soft candlelight. The meeting consisted of recognizing people and their accomplishments, welcoming new members, and listening to a wonderful motivator and teacher, Rocky Garza. Rocky has spent the last 12 years speaking and teaching branding, goal setting, and helping small business leadership. He is truly a people person and can identify what makes each individual unique. I enjoyed listening to Rocky and participating in the exercises he gave the audience and I would recommend him to any entrepreneur out there needing help with reaching their goals.
I want to thank everyone in the DFW NACE chapter for having me photograph and attend this great event. I look forward to working with each one of you again!
