The inspiration behind this styled bridal shoot is the Dia De Los Muertos holiday coming up on November 1st and 2nd. This is traditionally a Mexican celebration to remember relatives who are no longer living and to reflect on their life and show them love. To read more about this holiday click here! I had the opportunity to work with some great vendors on this shoot, including the incredibly talented Coco Andre Chocolatier who made the white and milk chocolate sugar skulls and Joy Macaroons for the delicious sesame seed macaroons. The hair and makeup including the rose and marigold floral crown was done by artist LaDonna Stein and the altar or “ofrenda” I had made was actually a life size pinata by Pinatas Factory and More in Oak Cliff. I want to thank all of you for collaborating with me on this shoot. I hope you enjoy my imagery!
